“A Judge Should APPLY The Law NOT MAKE The Law”
Ike Lamke has the common sense, real life and legal experience, knowledge and respect for the Constitution and the law necessary to fairly and correctly make legal decisions.

FAMILY
Ike is the grandson of Isidore Lamke and Armella Brinker Lamke (Washington) and Hap Farrell and Mary Farrell (Union), the son of Sam and Mary (Tootie) Lamke (Union). He and his wife, Susan, live between Union and Beaufort where they raised Susan’s daughter, Tina Eckelkamp. Ike and Susan are the proud grandparents of Bonnie, Sarah, Anna and Louie Eckelkamp.

EDUCATION
Ike attended Immaculate Conception Grade School in Union, Missouri. He then attended St. Louis Preparatory Seminary South (Kenrick) from 1966 through 1970 (Summa Cum Laude). He received a scholarship from and attended St. Louis University from 1970 to 1974 (B.A.; Magna Cum Laude in the Honors Program). He received a scholarship from and attended Washington University School of Law from 1974 to 1977 (Juris Doctor Degree). Perhaps as valuable as his formal education were the lessons learned about community and community values from growing up in Franklin County and working as a short-order cook, dock worker, machine operator, and dynamite man’s assistant.

EXPERIENCE
While in law school, Ike worked for the law firm of Briegel & Kimme in Union, Missouri. Subsequently, he has been a practicing attorney in Franklin County since 1977. Over the past 32 years, he has handled thousands of legal matters, including divorce, criminal defense and Special Prosecutor, real estate, corporate, personal injury, insurance defense, representation of political subdivisions (school district and municipalities), securities law, trial litigation and appellate representation. In several law suits, Ike was able to recover several millions of dollars which was distributed to local charities, churches and benevolent associations. He has practiced in both State Courts and Federal Courts.

MOST MEMORABLE ACHIEVEMENT
Aside from recovering monies for local churches, charities and benevolent associations, Ike’s most memorable and humbling achievement was the receipt of the Pro Bono Service Award from U.S.S. South Dakota Veteran’s Inc. Ike received the award from the shipmates of his father, Sam, for “legal services and extraordinary devotion” in recognition of 20 years of pro bono legal services provided to this W.W. II Veteran’s organization.
